Wilson’s Warbler Wilsonia pusilla
Wilson’s Warbler Wilsonia pusilla
Its bright yellow under parts and black cap easily recognizes it. It is most prevalent in the west and most abundant in the Rocky Mountains and westward, although nests coast to coast in Canada. It can be found in bogs with low shrubs of willow and alders, favoring second growth woodlands near water where it feeds on insects within 10 ft. from the ground. Also it is a frequent flycatcher as it captures insects in the air.
